Looking to advance your crypto knowledge to the level of giants in the industry?

In the vast arena of social media, there are many credible and accomplished evangelists singing the praise of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other blockchain projects that will really change the way we live on a daily basis. The future is about decentralization which takes important decisions away from a governing or regulating body and puts it into the hands of billions of people like you and me to decide for ourselves.

So who do I follow to not only inform but also to entertain me with their unique views, intelligent insights, quirky personalities, and above all, speak (or tweet) about their passion for this technology that promises to change our lives for the better?

Here are the ones I pay close attention to the most at this very moment:

1. Anthony Pompliano

Bitcoin Holdings: Above 50% of his wealth

BTC Quote: “Bitcoin is to the next 150 years what the combustion engine was to the last 150 years.

“Pomp” just has a keen eye for talent and a nose for investment, which has made him one of the most high profile millennial entrepreneurs and technology investors. His current portfolio includes some of the biggest companies in the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency space.

He is the founder of Morgan Creek Digital, a hedge fund that specializes in blockchain technology and digital assets. To say that he has helped fuel the growth of the adoption of crypto would be an understatement.

Go ahead and download his podcast, subscribe to his newsletters, watch his YouTube clips going toe to toe with those who predict doom and gloom for Bitcoin. And his in-your-face tweets can hit you right between the eyes and wake you up to realities such as this gem:

2a/2b. Cameron & Tyler Winklevoss

Bitcoin Holdings: Approx.179,605 BTC or 1% of the total circulating supply

BTC Quote: Cameron says, “The mainland is legacy finance, crypto is an island. We want to see an inversion where crypto becomes the mainland and legacy finance is just this dinosaur that is slowly fading away.”

Aptly numbered two on my list, the Olympic-rowing, Facebook-inventing financial wonder twins are likely familiar to you even if you just learned your Silicon Valley history by watching The Social Network.

The identically talented and risk-taking billionaire dynamos might just win in the end against Mark Zuckerberg’s centralized social platform as they envision a world that is based purely on blockchain technology.

After learning about Bitcoin in 2012, they were instantly enamored with the potentially disruptive digital currency of the future and set their sights on becoming early investors.

And now, their foresight has paid off as they, early holders and believers of BTC, are reaping the massive financial rewards.

Is there anything that the “Winklevii” touch that doesn’t turn into gold… or rather… Bitcoin?

3. Chamath Palihapitiya

Bitcoin Holdings: In 2011, approx.100,000 BTC. Today, it’s anybody’s guess.

BTC Philosophy: Chamath’s view is that Bitcoin’s long-term role will be as a value store to rival or replace gold while so-called stablecoins take over the dollar’s place as an everyday currency for transactions, paychecks, tax payments, and so forth.

An outspoken and brash venture capitalist, Sri-Lankan born and Canadian raised Chamath Palihapitaya has led a life not of the ordinary.

His resume speaks for itself: stints at AOL then Facebook, founder of Social Capital venture capital fund, former board of director at Slack, and among other prominent Silicon Valley roles, is also a minority shareholder of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors.

Always one to think out-of-the-box with often successful results, Chamath believes that “…Bitcoin is very important because it shows the fragility of the traditional financial structure,” as he states in a Bloomberg interview.

Also adept at poker, he’s willing to bet BIG like he always has that Bitcoin will be the preferred storage of value over gold. And I’m willing to give him and his proven track record, that he’s right.

4. Michael Saylor

Bitcoin Holdings: Approx.91,326 BTC through his company, Microstrategy

BTC Quote: “Bitcoin is an ark of encrypted energy to escape the currency flood.”

Already an accomplished American entrepreneur and co-founder of Microstrategy, a publicly traded enterprise-software business, Michael had the inclination to bet big on Bitcoin by taking a portion of his company’s cash reserves and buying millions upon millions worth of BTC in 2020.

That strategy paid off handsomely as the Bitcoin holdings are now worth at least 5 billion dollars and his Microstrategy’s stock soared in response.

And in what most likely sealed his status as a superstar crypto influencer is this now legendary Twitter exchange with fellow billionaire and businessman, Elon Musk:

This led to Musk’s Tesla buying 1.5 billion worth of Bitcoin using cash from his balance sheet and led to the company to announce that it would accept BTC as payment for its revolutionary electric vehicles.

With Elon Musk now on board and hyping digital currencies, did Michael Saylor then indirectly cause the confounding rise of the meme crypto Dogecoin?

5. Raoul Pal

Bitcoin Holdings: Approx.700 BTC

BTC Quote:Bitcoin is like a call option to the emergence of cryptocurrencies in the world

A hedge fund manager who retires at age 36 must be doing something right… right?

If you want real, in-depth analysis from a real expert, you can do no worse than Raoul Pal, an investing and money-making whiz who is the CEO and co-founder of Real Vision, which is an on-demand video channel akin to Netflix.

Maybe instead of just sitting on your sofa watching the latest K-Drama, you could try paying attention to his sage financial advice and try making your money work for you while you chill?

Says he about Bitcoin, “I love BTC, I see a probability of a BTC only future.

If the man loves his BTC that much, then so should you.

There are many, many more crypto personalities that you should pay attention to aside from the ones I listed above. But one thing they have in common is seeing cryptocurrency as a revolution in its early stages,

It’s not too late to aspire to be as successful and accomplished as the five individuals above if you dare to dream and envision changing the world for the better. Study them, read about them, and forge your own path towards your own goals.

Are you ready to take action and get on the life-changing roller coaster ride that is cryptocurrency? Will YOU be on my list in just a few years?
